La GALERÍA ADORA CALVO presentará en ARCOmadrid 2016 la obra de Juan Hidalgo y Mitsuo Miura, dos artistas clave en el desarrollo de los minimalismos pictóricos conceptuales e importantes pioneros que han desarrollado los conceptualismos en el territorio nacional. Ambos apuntan los ejes conceptuales del proyecto cultural y artístico de nuestra galería.

Se suman a ellos los autores Diego del Pozo, Ángeles San José, Fernando Renes y Javier Riera, quienes representan diversas generaciones de artistas jóvenes emergentes que gracias al trabajo de los pioneros están reformulando y reinventado los nuevos conceptualismos, como son las conexiones sobre el cuestionamiento de la forma del trabajo de Ángeles San José con Miura o las estrategias políticas y asuntos de cuestionamiento identitario entre la obra de Diego del Pozo e Hidalgo.

Con Alicia Martín mostramos una línea poética y literaria dentro de lo conceptual. Finalmente, la artista brasileña Anaisa Franco y la fotógrafa chilena Magdalena Correa permiten visibilizar el trabajo de artistas internacionales en su diálogo con el contexto español.

ADORA CALVO GALLERY will present at ARCOmadrid 2016 the work of Juan Hidalgo and Mitsuo Miura, two key artists in the development of conceptual pictorial minimalisms and important pioneers who have developed conceptualisms in the national territory. Both of them point out the conceptual axes of the cultural and artistic project of our gallery.

They are joined by the authors Diego del Pozo, Ángeles San José, Fernando Renes and Javier Riera, who represent different generations of young emerging artists who, thanks to the work of the pioneers, are reformulating and reinventing the new conceptualisms, such as the connections on the questioning of the form of Ángeles San José's work with Miura or the political strategies and issues of identity questioning between the work of Diego del Pozo and Hidalgo.

With Alicia Martín we show a poetic and literary line within the conceptual. Finally, Brazilian artist Anaisa Franco and Chilean photographer Magdalena Correa make the work of international artists visible in their dialogue with the Spanish context.
